SPEEDWAY, IN – RIS – Did you know that each Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 sidewall is designed for a specific position on an IndyCar for each specific race? Pay attention to the Firestone “F-Shield” on the sidewall.

Firestone tires with a red “F-Shield” are designated for right side tires and the white on the left side tires.

This helps teams quickly tell the two sides apart.
