CONCORD, N.C. (July 6, 2017) – Quads will quarrel, Legend Cars will tangle and Bandoleros will battle during an adrenaline-pumping night of Bojangles’ Summer Shootout action next Tuesday on Charlotte Motor Speedway’s frontstretch quarter-mile.

With the season having reached its midway point on July 4, drivers in the Legend Car (Cabarrus Brewing Company Masters, Lead 2 Real Estate Pro, VP Racing Fuels Semi-Pro, K1 Speed Young Lions) and Bandolero (Outlaws, Bandits, Beginner Bandits) divisions will square off Tuesday for points, money and bragging rights under the lights.

The Lead 2 Real Estate Pro division features a stirring battle between two-time and defending champion Jordan Black, 19, and second-year driver Austin Green, 16. Black has won the last two races with Green in tow.

The VP Racing Fuels Semi-Pro points tangle may well come down to the Miller family. Brothers Zack and Ryan Miller are first and second in points through five races with championship positioning on the line Tuesday.

Positioning will be the name of the game in Tuesday's Quad racing exhibition, which pits four-wheeled racers against one another in a high-speed tangle for quad supremacy on the frontstretch quarter-mile.

The future stars of motorsports continue their rise up the racing ladder all summer, with the Bojangles’ Summer Shootout – which features NASCAR stars Joey Logano, Austin Dillon and Bubba Wallace among its alumni – running through Aug. 1.

Gates open at 5 p.m. Tuesday with racing beginning at approximately 7 p.m.
