HAUBSTADT, IN JULY 19, 2014 -RIS- It was a night of seconds as Bryan Clauson won his second Indiana Sprint Week in a title while Robert Ballou won his second sprint week feature of 2014.

Bryan Clauson came into the event up by 10 points over Dave Darland and by the time qualifying and heats had been finished the margin had grown to 13. All Bryan had to do in the feature was finish fifth or better to win the sprint week title.

Robert Ballou qualified sixth and started the feature on the pole next to Kyle Cummins. As the green flag started the race it was a very close battle between the pair. It appeared that Cummins lead a few of the first ten laps but the timing and scoring system said otherwise. The 30 lap event was run with few cautions, the first being on lap 13 when Casey Shuman came to a stop with mechanical problems.

The caution on lap 13 was the only one of the night and at that time Clauson was in third place while Darland was not showing very well back in eleventh place. It was clear that the title was Clauson's to lose.

Jon Stanbrough was the nights fast qualifier and started sixth. He was in fourth place for the restart and took third from Clauson on lap 16

Chase Stockon showed that passing was not impossible as he turned a 22nd place start into a 14th place finish. Stockon had his right rear axle break during his first qualifying lap forcing him to start at the rear after some heavy repair work on the car.
